All projects have been on time and on budget. Mac is thorough and comprehensive in his planning and attention to project details. Nothing is allowed to “slip between the cracks”. He is on the top of the scheduling & coordination of sub-trades and has been equally demanding of the quality and timeliness of their work.
For each project Mac has given us ample time to make decisions on matters of design, and has communicated effectively with both our architect and structural engineer on any matters that have arisen.

[/imageframe]We hired Mac Laporte and his firm MKL Homes Ltd., for a complete renovation of the interior and exterior of our single family home.
As most people we had time constraints due to visiting family members and the inconvenience of living elsewhere during the construction. From the very beginning of the job to the end, Mac and his team were professional, committed, communicative, and hard working. Some of the designs for our kitchen, deck and front porch were complicated and they were all completed impeccably.
Mac’s work force is experienced and willing to work long hours to finish up the days work.
